Delta Health System-The Medical Center Welcomes New Physician

Scott Christensen, Chief Executive Officer at Delta Health System, is pleased to welcome Robert Brunston, M.D. General Surgeon, to Delta Health-The Medical Center.

Dr. Brunston received his Doctor of Medicine from Medical College of Georgia, Augusta, GA. He completed his general surgery residency at the University of Texas Medical Branch, Galveston, TX and the University of Nebraska Medical Center, Omaha, NE. Dr. Brunston also holds a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from the University of George College of Pharmacy, Athens, GA.

He has been working at our Northwest Regional facility in Clarksdale and we are extremely thankful that he has moved his practice to Greenville to work with our Level III trauma patients as well as local healthcare providers. Dr. Brunston has a wealth of experience, and we are fortunate to have him join our talented group of physicians.”

Dr. Brunston has over 20 years of experience which includes performing elective, urgent and emergent procedures including but not limited to: thoracic, vascular, breast, and endoscopic cases. He is a member of the American Medical Association, Mississippi State Medical Association, and the Society of Critical Care Medicine.
