Greenville, MS: The Medical Center leadership team and staff constantly strive to provide the best and most efficient care for the community and Delta Region.
Recently The Medical Center was asked to partner with Huron Consulting Group and present the work the facility has done to improve the care of patients diagnosed with Sepsis. Aden Carroll, BSN, RN, Clinical Informaticist & Angie Parkinson Piasecki, BSN, RN, Administrative Director of Critical Care & Quality recently participated as panelists for a case study for the work completed by TMC regarding the care of Sepsis patients for Medical Users Software Exchange (MUSE) International. This collaborative brings facilities from across the globe together to work towards improving patient care.

“Being proactive with the identification and early recognition of sepsis in a patient is the key to improving patient outcomes. Leveraging any technology available to accomplish this benefits the healthcare team and the patient. We are proud to work towards efficiency for our front-line staff,” said Angie Parkinson-Piasecki.
