Delta Health System Welcomes New Physicians

Iris Stacker, Chief Executive Officer at Delta Health System, is pleased to welcome Anthony Carter, M.D., Family Medicine, and Eric Wilkerson, II, M.D. Family Medicine, to Delta Health System-The Medical Center.

Dr. Carter received his Doctor of Medicine from the University of Mississippi Medical Center (UMMC), Jackson, MS. He completed his family residency program at MS Delta Family Medicine in Greenville, MS. Prior to attending the University of Mississippi Medical Center, Dr. Carter graduated from Millsaps College with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and a Master of Science in Biomedical Sciences from UMMC.

Dr. Wilkerson received his Doctor of Medicine from the University of Mississippi Medical Center, Jackson, MS. He completed his family residency program at MS Delta Family Medicine in Greenville, MS. Prior to attending the University of Mississippi Medical Center, Dr. Wilkerson graduated from the University of Mississippi Medical Center with a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics with a minor in Chemistry.

According to Stacker, “On behalf of Delta Health System, I would like to welcome Dr. Carter and Dr. Wilkerson to our attending staff, joining a team of stellar providers. Both physicians recently graduated from the MS Delta Family Medicine Residency Program, so we are proud and honored to have them remain in the Delta caring for our patients.” Stacker added, “Dr. Carter and Dr. Wilkerson have also joined the residency faculty so they will be instrumental in sharing their knowledge and experience with the residents.”

Dr. Carter and Dr. Wilkerson are both Board Certified in Family Medicine and members of the American Medical Association as well as the American Academy of Family Physicians.
