The next time you visit Delta Health System-The Medical Center, take a moment to look at the beautiful artwork adorning the lobby walls. The extremely talented students of Riverside High and Elementary Schools created the artwork for all hospital patients, visitors, and staff to enjoy.
“Our team reached out to Western Line Superintendent, Dr. Lawrence Hudson, and his team to partner with us to highlight their students’ work and he immediately responded yes. We are extremely thrilled with sharing the work of our youngsters and let everyone see the talent right here in Washington County. The Medical Center walls have been brightened for all to see,” said Iris Stacker, Chief Executive Officer. “Thank you to the school district, teachers, parents, and students who assisted and participated in this endeavor.”
The Riverside School administration and art teachers worked with the students of all grades to produce amazing work displayed in the hospital and given to the medical clinics to display.
“I am thankful for the opportunity Delta Health System has provided our students to showcase their talents. I am extremely proud of the students from Riverside Elementary and High School who took advantage of this opportunity to bless the community with their artistic displays throughout our regional medical center,” said Dr. Lawrence Hudson, Western Line Superintendent.
Delta Health System leadership encourages the partnership with the school districts to build relationships with the students. “We will continue to nurture and cultivate our students to assist the schools in any way possible,” added Stacker.
